The free limited edition case from Google Store is actually really nice.

It’s branded, only available from Google Store as a free gift and it’s apparently really a limited edition because it was only available during the launch period and will not be for sale.

Got it for $10 from someone who didn’t want it.

Is the back of the case smooth or?

Strongly agree! Battery life perhaps need some time for the adaptive to work its magic.

The blame for this can be placed squarely on the ̶e̶x̶y̶n̶o̶s̶ ̶ tensor chip. poor thermal management and its choice of modem

I long time give up on battery life with Pixel.

Just enjoy the phone and charge as when needed.
