It's a very small curve at the edge. I would call it a fillet - maybe like 0.5-1mm diameter fillet. And this fillet is outside of the viewable screen area so the entire screen is flat.

So technically any TGSP can cover the screen until a little into the bezels to prevent light bleeding right?

Yeah I think it's doable if you have a very good glass cutting laser process with small tolerances of about 1-2mm, because that's the distance from the edge of the viewable display to when the fillet begins.

Tbh just get hydrogel one first. Later in the month will get good tempered glass upgrade. Those mild curve like Pixel 8 Pro will have tgsp no need to drip glue one and cover whole screen.

Now try to buy trash tgsp only going to give you misery.

when you buy a pixel phone, 90% is that you are not a apple or samsamg or prc fanboy
u want the pure vanilla experience

I have tried using other Android phones but given up and get back to the simplest, highest software reliability Google phone.

for security, reliability and ease of use in Android camp, Google is the answer.

I wish Google to put some focus on tablet, for the past few years, I have to use Samsung tablet as no other better choice ever since Huawei get clamped with no Google Play store,no YouTube.

Samsung tablets with kill switch, about 2 years old, boot loop will be triggered, 3 of my Samsung tablets were killed by the same failure mode without data backup..

Prior to that, I had the Google pixel C Tablet lasting for 5 years without slowing due to aging, that is significant to tell the software reliability.

zero disappointment on all Google phones that I ever purchased.

I just compared the 2.5D fillet from the Pixel 8 Pro to my Pixel 6 and it's much smaller. The vanilla Pixel 6's 2.5D effect is more pronounced with a larger diameter.
