It's a bummer that GoCanvas is not working as I need it for work. Looks like I have to keep my other Pixel until it works in the P8P.

Kicking myself for missing the Gomo promo for $400 off the P8 Pro. That would have been an awesome deal.

Yah, I told them the SIM I received yesterday was still not working so they went to the back room and got me a new SIM within 5 mins. Finally it's working on my P8P. So I believed the ones dispensed by the machine might not work. It has to be of the '3' series serial number.

Sharing briefly what I'm going through:

• Received mine on Tuesday, traded in, couldn't do quick migration (that's okay).
• Like many have confirmed, Singtel did not send a compatible SIM. You will receive this message: "This sim is no longer supported" as you insert it. You won't be able to make calls, so you will have to reach out to support via WhatsApp (+65 9018 1688), or go to the Singtel shop.
• I'm still waiting for my Mous case. For the time being, I hold my phone dearly .
• I'm getting my laser screen protector done at Far East Plaza, Level 3.
• Apps not supported for the time being: Mi Home
• I have always been a Nexus/Pixel user since more than a decade ago. I'm glad to be back (because of timing and Singtel wasn't carrying them for a while). #TeamPixel

the initial setup didn't copy this app over however I can install from play store.

there is a new Google play service, default not getting updated, you may want to try to update it and check again

Not sure if anyone noticed/encountered this: I'm using the 3 button navigation (yes I'm old school android user) and when I was using the "back" button after using some apps, there is a momentarily lag in the transition. P8P owner here.

Day 4 here on the regular P8 and still feeling the warmth haha. Using it naked without a casing or SP. I guess the heat is not as obvious to most people who have casings on?

We are both traditional - I need the back button to undo/cancel actions! Didn't notice any lag TBH.

Looking to let go a sealed P8P 256gb obsidian with 3 cases, 1 XUNDD case & 2 RINGKE cases (yet to be delivered).

suggestion: go under developer setting > windows, transition, animator animation scales all set to .5x
