I am now in Kyoto with my wife.

My main phone is iPhone 13 Pro (to be upgraded to 15 Pro Max in Nov).

What I like about the Pixel 8 Pro is the ultra wide angle which is one of the widest if not the widest as well as the wefie front cam which is great for my wife and I without the need for tripod or someone to help us take the photo.

Colour wise, quite decent with the HDR processing. I think it doesn't lose out to iPhone or Samsung, might not be as good. But it outshine the Samsung S23 Ultra and iPhone with the really wide angle for front and back cam.

I believe only Honor and Huawei has such wide cam among all the flagship phones. Wider cam equals easier and faster takes.

You guys using screen protector that covers the selfie cam?
I use the ringke non-TG cover selfie cam but 1 time ok liao.
Also in room light.

No leh, my phone is still naked. I called the helpdesk who gave all sorts of solutions (didn't work) like use cellular data instead of wifi, don't use vpn, uninstall - reboot - reinstall, and the last one simply ask me to request the PIN mailer, which I did.

In quiet environment.. 30% can barely hear anything.. anyone the same too?

yea, i tried playing youtube music, kpop on speaker, 30% like not loud enough, min need 40-50% to hear

yeah same but it’s plenty loud after 50%

for cases exposing the camera bump what do you guys use to protect it?
i see those protector for camera only covers the top and not the sides.. wrap is the only option?
