Workaround for iPhone is to Turn off Networking and Wireless in Privacy's System Services

Anyone’s P8 pro or P8 has google message draining issue?
the damn messaging app keep draining the batt even if I have no SIM card inside. It’s damn frustrating I can’t even turn off the app.

Singapore still not receiving it, so sideloaded it.

+ Battery seems better but too early to tell

+ AOD does not have the pink tint anymore

+ Some apps that was unable to open is now able to

- 2 occasions where AOD wasn't working and display went completed off (still monitoring)

- Still no Video Boost option yet (Important: Beginning December 7, 2023[US], this feature gradually rolls out to Pixel 8 Pro users. It may not be available immediately.)

I actually managed to successfully request the OTA on the morning itself that the update was rolled out. Had thought Google finally fixed the issue with OTA not being able to be manually pulled. Lol
