1. Battery Life
2. Camera photos/videos

Compared to Galaxy S23 Ultra

I think S23U is definitely better in the battery life.
Don't know and waiting for photos & videos review vs S23U.

History has shown that we should wait to use the phone for about a week for it to learn usage patterns before judging the battery life.

I just had a chat with SingTel and they confirm that some SIM cards may be incompatible with the pixel. Gotta go to a SingTel shop and the staff there will sort things out.
SingTel exclusive retailers can’t (according to the CSO)

Just to share, I went to the 24hr kiosk to get a new sim for my P8P. The new sim didn’t work either.

edit: I’m on SingTel

might need a day 1 app update for this, since we receive the device prior launch date.

From my experience the difference tends to be the idle battery consumption, rarely do I see a difference in the SOT.

btw, can consider alternative apps

e.g. i use revanced extended, no more ads on youtube

similarly, can install ublock extension on firefox, no more ads when surfing

Sianz.... I think I ordered the wrong case for my P8P. The one I ordered has the camera bump area covered one. I think it will blocked the LDAF sensors. Should have gotten those "open window" kind..... lesson learnt. sigh.......

Anyone who changed from P6P to P8P got shocked at how loud the loudspeakers are? It scared the **** out of me when I opened a YouTube video at 12am on full volume.

I am using the P6P and thinking whether will there be any significant upgrade if i shd pull the trigger for the P8P.

Whats your observations ?

Seems like no one in this thread make any mention of the Pixel Fold.
