Why le? Just curious, is it blurry or unreal or?

I take photos with my POCO F3, feel like there's something missing, that's why I use my partner's iPhone to take photos most of the time.

Don't think so, I changed to English (US) because the auto space after punctuation in Gboard is only available to US English. Ask GAssistant to summarize, "Sorry, I can't summarize this device yet."
Ah yes, the POCO F3. What you are missing are details from your photos lol. And poor post processing. Most phone camera can take a photo but most of them can't post process properly.

Don't camera shame!!! Haha but it's a good phone just that mid range phone camera no good, even with gcam. No confidence in good photos with it.

Now take selfie also can see all the pores.

You can't camera shame facts bro. 🥲 Before the software touch the photos like gcam, some post processing is done on the chip too.

Does anyone have issues installing Google Pay?
I only have Google Wallet which doesn't allow pay to phone number or scan to pay (unless I'm missing something).
When I try to download Google Pay, I get an error saying that my "device isn't compatible with this version"

I installed both Google wallet and Google pay ( uniquely for Singapore for the paynow function) on Pixel 8 Pro.

tested paynow and Google pay, both are working fine.
my Pixel watch only needs the Google wallet to work.

Yes it runs well for me too. No issues with Google pay.

My only gripe is that it doesn't run 32 bit apps. I have apps that I used on my S23+ that cannot be installed on the P8P....I skipped the Pixel 7 so hadn't realized it.

Any non-pro P8 user? The 120hz works right? unlike the demo set?
Yes smooth as butter.

Is it me or 5g simba makes the phone quite hot? Hot till charging speed becomes ridiculously slow

Gonna try 4g and see if it's okay.

Coming from pixel 7 pro using 4g, didn't encounter such issue. But then there was no 5g on p7p until qpr beta 2

Go for it. I changed network mode from 5G to LTE in my P8P and its not so warm now. When it was in 5G mode, signal strength was not so good (2 bars only) and in LTE mode signal strength is good (full bars). It's the same observation with WiFi, I noticed that WiFi signal is not too strong compared to my older Pixel at the same spot of my house.

Hopefully Google will fix these reception/signal issues in the updates to follow in the near future.

Wow thanks for the tip. I also encountered the same and I now change it to LTE for Simba and the warmth is gone

Indeed my phone seems to be much cooler now with LTE as the default. Thanks man!

New to Pixel Pro since I came from Samsung.

Does anyone have a problem with Healthy 365? Mine just shows a blank white screen when I start the app now. :(

The Google Pixel came with free 6 months Google One subscription. Does it mean after 6 months I won't have access to the magic eraser and other "AI magical" stuff?

Was a bit disappointed that the Best Take required you to take multiple photos and upload to Google Photos before it works. I thought it was a "mode" baked into the camera.

Summarize doesn't seem to work at all. I tried using a US-location account and US English, but it still says "Sorry, I can't summarize on this device yet".

Overall, I guess many of the magical features are not turned on outside of USA, so was kind of disappointed. It's still a nice phone, but intentionally shackled in some ways.

Bought a China case with magsafe ring that doubles as a stand (can rotate) which isn't so bad:

Magic eraser is native to Pixel phones. It is available as a feature only for non Pixel phones AND if you are Google One subscriber. You will still have the Magic after the 6 mths.

Just replaced the Ringke TG with the T Teresly TG and I find the latter better due to how much better the camera cutout looks 😅
