An AI experiment, and we are the one supplying them with data.... it better be cheap. Else the Honor Magic V3 might be worth a look. Only initial effort needed to remove china bloatware, hehe
Yah lah, working together with Google can really improve AI, but must be careful with privacy also. it's like two hands need to clap, both sides must benefit. but hor, sharing data, must make sure got protection, otherwise later privacy kena jialat jialat. so must strike a balance, make world better but also keep things safe

Its the selling point being the thinnest, shouldn't look at the weight! :ROFLMAO: 🤡
People usually think that 'thinner' means 'lighter,' not 'heavier.' thin design very shiok, but weight also quite important lah. if too heavy, not so easy to carry around. better to balance both thinness and weight, then more shiok to use!

We’re less than two weeks away from the next Made By Google event, and we’re all waiting for what the company has in store. Well, while you wait, how about a nice spicy leak? Thanks to 91Mobiles, we have some leaked promo material for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and the potential price.

In case you don’t know, Google changed the naming scheme of its foldable phones. Rather than putting its foldables in their own series, Google is roping them in with its main line of Pixel slab phones. That’s an interesting concept, and it makes for a cumbersome name. In any case, we’ve been getting information about this phone over the past couple of months.

Price

First, let’s talk price. We expected it to rise in price this year compared to the first foldable. However, it looks like Google decided to take some pity on us, according to the leak.

It looks like the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will come with two storage configurations: a 256GB configuration (in India) and 512GB one. The 256GB version will come in at $1,799 (Rs 1,50,649 approx), and the 512GB version will cost $1,919 (Rs 1,60,698 approx).

Here’s the leaked promo material for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold

We’ve seen leaks so far, so it’s nice to see the information straight from Google. There are 14 new promo photos of the phone which show off the design and some of the spotlight features.

Starting off with the hardware, Google is claiming that this phone will be the thinnest handset available at the time. It will have some competition from Honor, to be honest. We also see that the bezels are a little smaller than what we had on the Pixel Fold, and the screen has a punch hole. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have a 6.3-inch outer display with an 8-inch inner Super Actua display.

Moving onto some spotlight features, Google is advertising Circle To Search, which should surprise no one. Also, the company advertised some other general AI features like Gemini, Magic Eraser, Magic Editor, etc.

We also get a glimpse of what comes in the box with this phone, and it’s not much. You get a charging cable, a SIM removal tool… and the phone.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is one of four phones that Google is slated to announce at its August 13 event. After sharing the promo videos for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, we can now share the promo video for the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is in German this time, but it’s still pretty easy to see what Google is touting in this short 37-second video.

Google discusses the potential of having such a large 8-inch main display when the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is unfolded. One example is using Gemini to start planning a trip and using the main display to have Google Messages open side-by-side with Gemini. Google is also showing how easy it is to switch apps on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Similar to the Pixel 9 promo video we shared, Google also touts Magic Editor on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. While the new “Add Me” feature is not shown in this video, we do know that it will be available on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold (and the entire Pixel 9 lineup).

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold unfolds completely flat

One of the big criticisms of the original Pixel Fold was that it did not unfold completely flat. While most other foldables also didn’t unfold completely to 180 degrees, this was much more noticeable on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. But Google is showing here that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold does unfold completely flat, even in its promo video.

It also appears to have a new hinge too. Pixel Fold had a flat hinge in the center of the bezels around the interior screen. But with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, it is raised a bit, and looks a lot more like the hinge on the OnePlus Open. And given the specs of this device, it really looks like Google asked BBK to make the OnePlus Open/OPPO Find N3 for them.

Finally, the video also shows off both colors of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which we expect to be called Obsidian and Porcelain. And it is “With Gemini” as you’d expect. This launch has a whole lot of Gemini baked in, as we’d expect.

EXACT copy of the Find N3, in fact more front screen on Find N3 :cautious::unsure:
It isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you prefer the passport form factor of the previous g fold. I quite like Find N3 design except for the humongous camera hump.
