Just played with the unit at AMK Hub's Singtel store, quite surprised the left inner screen's already showing a black tinted shade despite the sample unit just being put on display a couple of days back.

Can't really see from the pictures. Do you mean the left panel is slightly dimmer or just displays darker colors?

I added arrows to indicate where this black shade is appearing on the left inner display. The whole plane of pixels in between the area denoted by the arrows appears darker than the rest of the screen

Yes I’m here at Amk hub as well I took some photos on this too. It’s seems that it’s not as durable as it is.

Thanks for the clarification. Is the screen protector still intact on the inner screen?

Weird why it's displaying like that. Did you try to restart the device to see if it's software or hardware issue?

Looks like google wants to make it look like the bezel on the cover screen

Didn't really inspect up close if there was a pre-installed screen protector, didn't thought of restarting the unit to see if it was a one time issue either.

Screen aside the build quality was good and I'm still gonna keep my pre-order for the P9PF. Taking this with a pinch of salt since demo units changes hands multiple times every day.

But I don't see this on the demo units of honor, oppo, Samsung fold devices leh.

I saw that too. A restart fixed it.

But I don't see this on the demo units of honor, oppo, Samsung fold devices leh.

Honor i seen faulty before... the right hand upper corner there become black..

Samsung my friend told me his demo set repair at least 2 time.. for z fold 5

I agree with the build. It’s the only foldable that has opened up full 180 degrees for me. the rest seem to do it but when you closely inspect, it’s just off by a few degrees
