I spoke with google now ; all good
cc companies will reverse the charge after 7 days if not confirmed by the merchant
as long as the order is still there and not cancelled it will still be fine so don’t worry
cc will charge again once the product ships

Seems like it may be the 256gb ones... cos its now on "get notified" whereas 512gb still shows 4th Sept on the google store online page.

My 256gb is still 4 Sept but I only ordered a couple of days ago so they might still be updating the dates from the earliest orders...
