Sounds so scary to buy the Google Pixel Fold. But I remember the first Gen Samsung Galaxy Z Fold also had many such videos. I got one during the launch and with proper care and usage, all was well. Given the first gen teething issues of such electronic products, consumers need to use their devices with care, much like other electronics as well.

Reviewers receive their units for free as such, some reviewers might use their devices in a rougher way in order to know about the durability of the product they are reviewing in order to share with their viewers how NOT to use this product. Good info sharing I would say.

For those whom have ordered or gotten their devices, I would say enjoy the product and not get too worried over it.

Just wondering since the Pixel Fold isn't official released here, would the local Google Service Centre entertain repairs? I do know however, Google has partnered with ifixit to provide repair kits and manuals for self diy repairs including the inner folding screens. Hopefully this will be a reliable product for long term use.
