It's working on my japan set, just checking US set can anot. If can, might swap mine for a US set when it's more readily available in future
Google Store lists both US and Japan sets as having the exact same 5G bands.

I was for a moment tempted to use buy for me services to buy from US, but the thought of having to pay double taxes (once in the US and another when importing in) for this very pricey phone puts me off. Lol

I just compared Singapore and US networks, everything the same except US and Japan has the 5G mmwave bands which are extras.

Finally the Pitaka Rhapsody Case with Magsafe arrived today. Never been a fan of such hard cases with cutouts for buttons, doesn't really protect the entire device 100%, especially drops but the Pixel Fold seems to work well with this case. Was previously using the Ghostek Covert Case with the hinge protector but spoilt the entire look of the device and felt like holding a mini dictionary, so bulky and might I say...ugly  I have 2 photos, like I mentioned previously, I'm not a professional photographer so please don't mind.
This case is rather pricey in my opinion but the overall look is one of my key considerations plus the quality is really good. Well worth it in my opinion. The Pixel Fold battery life isn't all that good, runs warm at times for no reason, very pricey to buy it locally, no warranty, quite a few minus points BUT I really like this phone despite all the shortcomings. I look forward to the Pixel Fold 2 next year which should have improvements but till the Tensor G4 which has been rumoured to be made by TSMC, we have to live with the short battery life and the "incubator" nature of the Exynos made G2 Tensor Chip :ROFLMAO:

For those on the fence on whether to go for the Pixel Fold, this phone is not for everyone, the general consensus is that buying a local set with warranty, buying the popular brands is a safe bet, but reading many online feedback on a certain big brand S, green lines appearing on the display after software updates and yet being denied warranty claims (unverified, only read from the multiple posts online), the Pixel Fold would be a a safe bet for you. Life is Short, go for it! Cheers and have a good weekend!

Is there any real difference between US and JP sets? and have any of you used myus.com to send phones over to sg? I’m thinking of using them for my amazon purchase
