Google probably underestimated the demand. And probably constraint on the supply side.

Google can't be so silly for not wanting to meet the demand out there.

When did you get the OTA? Are you on Pixel or Pixel XL?

When i got the phone on 9 dec, n did an update i got it le. On pixel XL.

I'd expect that HTC has the capacity. Probably Google didn't ask for so many to be manufactured.

I would say this is purposely done by Google. Just like some of the hawker stalls in Singapore, purposely slowly prepare the food and make the queue so long. Let everyone thinks the food is nice. One thing for sure is pixel xl is gd. Hv been using Google phone since Nexus 5. I am impressed with pixel battery life. Can last me any 1.5 day.

You do know stock android doesn't display 4G+ specifically. Just 'LTE'.

All telcos supports 4G+

I couldn't bring myself to get the Pixel.... coz I travel often and need dual SIM phone... so PIXEL is not for me.

It's also the same reason I won't go for iPhone
