-NOF26W reboot, it rolled back to Jan V release (what I had).
-Applied the same OTA (only available on WiFi till 11 Feb
-Became NOF26V, finishing installation on first boot as usual
-Tried to reboot again, back to Jan V release oh wow.

Yes, it's still saying I can download the 97.5MB update. I guess I'll stick with Jan security patch for now :/. The purpose of rebooting was to workaround some rogue app issues.

Looks like its a potential issue if you reboot your phone a couple of times. Hope 7.1.2 will be finalised soon, I'll probably do a full factory image reflash with that and try work around the issue sigh. But it looks like an unresolved trending issue.

How you get a non contract ones? I went to shops selling. They told me all contracted no phone alone sale. If just want hp,get from Google straight.

Since 5X and Pixel now, I am on 32 GB. No issue with storage. I don't install games. My documents and photos are saved in cloud.

So it depends on the type of usage. If you are a gamer, you may want higher storage.

Yea I actually sent in for them to look at. They told me they do not have any spare parts yet and need to order it. I took the phone back and now trying to send it back to Google Australia. Hopefully it can be done. Sadly reading the terms of Warranty, it only applies to the person who buys the phone. I got mine from carousell and now the person cannot be contacted. Waiting for a reply from Google Australia, gave them my IMEI number all

You already used one. The other is more or less the same. I don't think there is a significant difference in performance.

Seldom we see people switch to a different size of the same release.

Yes. For some people who are gamers or if they don't embrace cloud technology, they may find 32 GB not enough.

Was the Australia set purchased from JB HI FI? If it is, you just need the original receipt or a copy of it and get them to handle the warranty claim from Google on your behalf ( assuming you have friends there to help u go to the retail store)

For some reason, the pulse notification LED stopped working for Whatsapp, both the app and phone setting are on, but no LED flashing when there's a message. Strangely it was working just 1 day ago, for emails and other apps, works fine..

So this is a hardware issue...Sucks. Fingers crossed my set is still working perfectly.
