You mean the icon in red?

Try uninstalling its (play services) updates.

If you see deactivate, type 'admin' in the search bar of settings and you'll see device admin apps. Tap it, and disable find my device.

Go back to play store, now you will be able to uninstall it. After uninstalling, give it some time to update it.

The latest version is 19.8.29 (120400-282600551)

Both my Pixel 2 and 4 the Google Play system update still at Oct also.

From the Android Security Bulletin site Nov have nothing for Google Play system update.
Dec have media codec patches.
