Just curious, are there any differences between local and export sets (e.g. US, JP) for pixel watches apart from the lack of warranty coverage? I understand that for pixel phones there would be a mandatory shutter sound for JP models but not so sure for watches. Looking to pick up a JP set since it's much cheaper than local sets.

No difference for WiFi model. If it's LTE model, don't think local telcos support eSIM for Pixel watches yet.

No difference. Both my Pixel Watch 1 & 2 were from Amazon JP

What you need to know​

• A quiet update to the Pixel Watch app will now let users know when a paired Pixel Watch 2 is fully charged.
• It appears that the feature is not yet available on the original Pixel Watch, and it's unclear whether Google plans to add it in the future.
• The feature comes less than a month after code related to Pixel Watch charging notifications was spotted in an update to the Pixel Watch app on Android.

Hello Pixel Watch Community,

All supported Pixel Watch devices running Wear OS 4 will receive the December 2023 software update starting today. The rollout will continue over the coming weeks in phases depending on carrier and device. Users will receive a notification on their watch once the OTA becomes available for their device. We encourage you to update to receive the latest software.

• Your Pixel Phone and first-gen Pixel Watch will work even better together for more convenience, allowing you to sync your Do Not Disturb and Bedtime Modes from one device to the other, like you can with Pixel Watch 2.

Bug fixes and performance updates

• A number of people experienced image retention on their Pixel Watch 2, which has been fixed in this update.

Additionally, new apps and features have recently launched for Pixel Watches, including Call Screen, as well as new watch faces and complications for the first-gen Pixel Watch. You can also use your Pixel Watch to unlock your Pixel phone when it's nearby. Visit this page to learn more.

think buy $115 Redmi Xiaomi watch 5

it's not the os, and display very small and round, cut off words, now use Xiaomi smart band 2 again and again

I see some sellers on Lazada who claim to be selling brand new local Pixel Watch 2 for $300+. Has anyone bought from them..? I'm wondering whether it's legit.
