When at home, is the watch connected to wi Fi, right?
Cos I was quite far from the phone and the watch is still able to receive notifications

Watch has to be connected with the phone using Bluetooth to receive notifications from the watch. Watch is also connected to WiFi to connect to internet.

Hmmm, maybe because I got the Japan version?
But my phone is set to US.

Also when I switch the region and language on my phone to Japan and Japanese, google assistant still cannot be setup on my watch.
The error was "Your region's language is not yet supported by wearOS"

EDIT: I changed the Assistant language from English (Singapore) to English (United States) and can set up assistant on my watch after that

I also bought Pixel Watch but it looks very small, not sure why Google made it so small!!

Will try for few days, else will switch back to my Huawei Watch.

Got it for $355. Very happy with the watch.

Maybe low expectation? and I paid nearly the same price for previous Fitbit sense so everything else is already a bonus.

Yes, battery life really cannot make it even for a day. I don't know why they program the watch to measure the heart rate every second, which cannot be customised at the moment.
