See the 2nd video. She dive with tour group but she decided to pickup her dropped GoPro alone as she was confident in her diving skills. Also, she was certified as pro diving... But the underwater current was too strong and swept her towards the bottom of the sea.
she took the risks, she was certified and had diving experience, but it was a sea environment rather foreign to her and she decided to risk it all because the footage was all she had to show for the trip, the local guides knew the terrain better and stayed on the safe route, that's why they didnt lose their lives.
