I think you missed out the word 'OR'. So it's for either if you are a full time student or have a disability not 'AND' for both.

Laptop display: 15" with 1366x768 resolution

No thankies. Trying to get work done on a 768p screen today is just ridiculous. The point is to read more text on screen, and not have to scroll after every one or two paragraphs on a webpage or pdf.
Today's computing requirements allow for cheaping out on the processor but not the display. Just because they are underprivilleged doesn't mean that they should be stuck with subpar computing experiences.

Even the glut of cheap < S$800 laptops coming out from China today ship with at least 8GB memory, an SSD and a 1080p or 1440p display. Plus most of them have metal bodies instead of plastic for reduced weight and better durability.

Lol they waived the community service requirement (6 hours if you are 14 years of age and below, 12 hours if you are 15 years of age and above)

Which makes a lot of sense

I mean, if you're already poor, you need the time to earn money. Apparently tutoring counts. Well if you got lobang to do $40/hour tuition, you have $480 for 12 hours of tuition already. Add the $220 that you still have to pay even if you're in the program, you get $700. Then you can buy the FullHD screen or whatever spec you want.

Just don't be like me goondu and pay $800 for a TN screen from Lenovo.

10th gen Intel CPU, not too shabby.

Would have been better if they have provided the Acer Swift 3 with Ryzen 4700U APU $100 to $200 more but the difference in specs ......
