I do wonder if bullying had truly worsen over the years.

Back in the 1980s and 1990s, during the days of gangsterism, bullying could be quite bad, beating/fights/extortion/ even sex among gang members were a norm. But it wasn't as widely reported, and there wasn't social media then.

My secondary school had police cars patrolling weekly.
