so you arrive at Baiyun, go to the counter and they arrange for you? which hotel you got?

am actually considering CZ for a few long haul flights. GZ tend to have typhoons and Baiyun don't allow pax to stay overnight. so kinda half-hearted about flying via GZ.

some airlines provide transit hotel if your first next connecting flight is >8hours. Emirates, Qatar provides. But theirs are pretty tricky to claim. Their first connecting flights are always on the higher fares. So if you booked the flight that is >8hours and much cheaper, you don't get the free transit hotel.

they blardy dunno how to go give directions. point and never say it's level 3. dunno how many times i walked end to end.

there's free transfer also. baiyun does allow people to stay overnight now. many were sleeping there in plain sight. but i couldn't connect to the free wifi some how.
