But I agree, cost of living is high for Malaysian locals.

its a matter of the purchasing power of your money, everywhere the same.... received SGD spend in MY VS received RM spend in MY mah.

Most people dont drink Starbucks and mid range dining that often.
Besides big brands like levis , iphone has the same pricing regardless which country .

Take a look at the price tags of Zara and Uniqlo. Prices of several countries are printed in local currencies.

Dumb comparison.. live like the locals and enjoy local life, eat local drink local, spend local, with 1:3 you'll be comfortable.. dun compare atas food n living, everywhere will be ex... N not only money hor, its the pace n way of life that matters more...
