Airbnb price is actually pax-dependent. 4 pax vs 2 pax stay the same room, price is different. u can try play and see the price change on the website. then u might say, then pple can play cheat enter lesser pax? Yes and No... sometimes they check... there's like a "if catch u cheating will ban u clause"

nearer to city are usually a small hotel-like room. basically like 2 bed + table.

outskirts usually can get you bigger room with living room etc. at same price.

give u a rough gauge.... 4pax is usually sgd100-ish on the avg.

I chose this because it sleeps 6 pax. My kids are adult sized.

More importantly I wanted to be as close to the ocean as possible. Only this unit is. Like 5m away.

some points to note for Airbnb.

1) default shown is in USD.

2) abit smelly here... even if u choose to pay in sgd, I still got a conversion charge fee from Citibank. I don't know if it's from Airbnb or Citi.

3) some Airbnb are actually hotels.

4) communicate with airbnb owner earlier the better, coz they might not reply very fast. imagine u reached the place, but they still haven't tell u the door passcode.

5) jeju bath towels are amazingly small, more like face towel. I went to one still got musky smell....omg.

Make sure have co driver to tell you if you driving too close to the right side of the road, and sometimes if you are driving on the wrong side of the road!

Last trip last year I drove around the entire island over 4 days. Everyday changed hotel. Super less hectic than the year before when I drove to different parts of the island from my hotel in Jeju City.

Everyday changed hotel damn troublesome. Early check-out and late check-in.

Sharing pics. 3rd time Korea. 2nd time in Jeju. Self drive. Travel was brutal. 2am red eye flight. 6 hours. Economy class. Sit upright. Could not sleep at all. I am a lazy vacationer. Meaning idle, dun stress me see mountain see sea. So I won't have many gpgt. Will just share the interesting ones. And give FR to bro @carey Weather conditions ok. Cold as expected. Wind did not blow my son to China. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Have not seen such a complex car! Maybe I suaku. Sonata. Left hand drive. Gear on right. Took me 20 mins to understand the car!


Left hand drive roads. Everything in reverse and screwing my mind. No sleep. Risk factor x 30. Dozed off at times.


First stop. Namo Namo cafe

I am living beside the ocean now. Yes, the sea breeze makes it colder. Not keen to sight see or shop. Just want to slow down my life. Stare at the sea. I find it therapeutic. Maybe go trendy cafes, eat interesting food etc.

Because my PTSD is stage 5. For Stage 1, ghost sg east coast park chalet can cure. For Stage 5 need to reach into the extreme sensory to heal. See sea cannot see ships. Sea breeze must be fresh not humid. You see how much damage my boss cause me?
