worse thing is that some of the providers will either prevent you or charge you a fee if you want to downgrade to a cheaper plan. quite silly when i can just port over to another provider instead of staying on with them.

I think this kind of price can get the cheapest SingTel sim only, no MVNO, let alone on M1 network.

Just get eight for $8 or Simba for $10. Or get both to compliment coverage for each others and still cheaper than your traffic light telcos' plan.

Was very tempted to switch from Simba to Eight, then it offered us $80 for $80 top up discount, which essentially half my Simba $13/m to $6.50/m. How to quit like that?

I'm a cheapo and need data roaming at Malaysia, Thailand, HK(wife from there and kids go back to visit the grandparents), China(follow my in laws to eat eat drink drink there) mainly so i use simba.. 12bucks monthly only..
