Please don't self pwn hor. Most cats don't like to be hugged. That includes belly rubs. You will most likely be scratched or bitten if you try it on cats that have not warmed up to you.

Some ok leh.... I met a few that like belly rubs.... But I never try hugging them.....

Some ok leh.... I met a few that like belly rubs.... But I never try hugging them.....

The keyword is some. Most don't like either. The cat pros here also mention before. Just be careful when showing affection to them.

takes patience... animals not unlike humans take time to get used to.. i feed this stray for mths riao now it allows moi to rub its belly n even carry it ~~

try not to unless they already warmed up to you.even they have warm up to you, it is still a bit risky.

My friend has 2 cats. Both since kitten with him. But they die also refuse to let him touch their tummy, and will get very aggressive if he try to force. Sometimes time also not the only factor.
