GPT format for 32bit OS

Hello,

Understand you need GPT format for 3TB HDD (native),
and 64bit OS can support GPT for 3TB HDD.

How about 32bit OS ?
Does Win7 x32 support GPT beyond 2.2TB, or only support up to 2.2TB ?

If I'm not wrong, using GPT as data disk is fine for 32bit OS, but not as a boot disk.
