My gpu is gtx 1070 from zotac. At first everything was working well. But I was getting no display and 9 beeps when I try to boot from it recently. My onboard graphics on my Mobo is working well.

I went to the distributor and the gpu turned on. They ran benchmark on it for quite awhile and it was running fine.

I went home and 2 times I managed to get it to boot from the gpu and it ran fine til I shut down then when I try to on it again it be no display and 9 beeps.

I bought new psu and Mobo and the gpu still don't give a display. This board doesn't beep. The onboard graphics is working fine. If the gpu is plugged in the onboard graphics won't come out.

I don't know if it's normal but the gpu fans won't spin at the same rate. The one closer the io shield look quite jerky while the other one will spin more smoothly. I tried to spin them and the both feels smooth.

Can anybody know what is wrong can help me please

@ TS - remove all your RAM, clean the gold contacts and re-seat.

Did TS put in speaker for the New setup? Might have beeps but then no output audio..

Ram error should be 4 short beeps though, 9 beeps should be a CMOS error, got to change battery and reset bios. Maybe TS suay until both mobo used also flat battery?

My old Mobo comes with the tiny speaker to attach to and new one doesn't but I attach that Tony speaker to the new mobo too but doesn't beep. Both Mobo I attach normal USB speakers and will have windows starting sound.

I'm actually afraid my first Mobo pci express slot spoilt but new Mobo I missing steps?

First thing I did when my new psu and Mobo came was exchange the old psu with the new one and old Mobo still 9 beeps and no display so old psu shouldn't be the issue.

Then i started the new Mobo. I setup cpu, Rams, psu, ssd with windows, speakers, keyboard and mouse.
With onboard graphics it went to my windows 10 fine and I went to do the latest bios for my mobo. I never install any software in the disc that cames for the cpu, graphics card or mobo.

After the beeps, does your PC auto restart again? If yes, I think it is likely your RAM that is causing the problem.

With dvi in gpu. After beeps for old Mobo it will have the windows starting sound. For new Mobo will have windows starting sound too.

Second hand mobo of this gen quite cheap. Consider getting one. Can search at hwz marketplace or carousell.

Sent from Overpowered Phone Mark III using GAGT

I bought one from Amazon but cannot get display from gpu too

Have reseated same thing happens

Side note I have tried dvi and HDMI in gpu and both no display

any way you can get/borrow another gpu to try on both your mobo? to rectify and make sure it's the GPU problem instead of the motherboard. Chances of both mobo have the same issue is too slim imo, but it is still a possibility though :/

Hi guys thanks for your help. Went back to zotac distributor and the problem was really the gpu.

Really sway the gpu manage to boot the first time I was there. Would ask those whos having problems with their gpu to ask the technicians to restart it a couple of times to test it.
