Hi guys, are there any shops in Singapore that sells Twin Frozr III cooler?

My 7870 fans are not spinning anymore so thought of replacing it.

Edit: Warranty has expired.

best bet is to pull out the faulty fan and zip tie a couple of fans on to it.

Yeah there is display. It's just that temperature rises quickly within a short period of time.

Yeah fan connector is connected. Even tried to manually control the fan using Afterburner but it did not spin.

Wild suggestion: If can, use the mobo headers to power the GPU fans and see if it is GPU fan issue or the GPU itself?

Hmm, I tried but it wouldn't fit? Seems like the gpu fan header is slightly smaller than the motherboard ones.

Ah, if cannot fit then no choice, just replace the fans first (and hope it's just the fans spoil; if new fans don't work means card possibly dying I guess?), or see needs cos right now the 2nd hand market got a lot of interesting choices lol; treat this as a chance/excuse to upgrade to something better

Do you know where to get the fans in Singapore?

Hmm was originally planning to see a comparison between pascal and polaris before deciding to upgrade. Spoilt at a wrong time...

I not sure where to get the fans, sorry. Got ask blue forum about the artic fans as suggested earlier?

And yes, now not good time for GPU to spoil (unless you don't mind those 2nd hand GPUs due to the Pascal/Polaris "war" lol) :(

my powercolor 7850 fan failed slightly over the 3rd year mark (this january)
the default 20% it cannot spin , need to manual 90% to spin it then adjust in steps of 5% down to 60-70% for gaming , any lower the fan will stall and drop to 0 RPM

as backup I put a used 80mm coolermaster blademaster fan (at 12v max speed 2100rpm ) below the gpu fan , cut a piece from milk jug plastic to hold the 80mm fan above PSU
keeps the graphic card at ok temperature for idle and video , but the airflow doesn't adequately reach the graphic card VRM area so I still need the noisy graphic card fan to push airlow on gaming load

powergamers is out of the arctic coolers, I tried 6mths ago, might still have some fans.

fans should be easy to find, at SLS. just get a couple of 80mm or even 120 mm (any brand, coolermaster should have some 80mm for about $9) and take off the current not working fans, and then zip tie the new fans onto the heatsink, should have plugs for you to plug the fans directly into the molex cables from your PSU.

the above is the most immediate and cost effective solution, if you are waiting to decide if you want to upgrade.

I tried all means and ways, believe me.
