GPU for DX12_1

Since Windows 10 is out, do you consider GPU capable of DX12_1 when upgrading?

For people upgrading now, it seems the choice is limited. Do they buy 1 card and then upgrade again next year?

1. Games must first make use of DX12 to gain advantage.

2. Older Gpu can run on DX12, but may not have full feature of DX12.

3. Those going for gpu upgrade should consider going for next gen already since higher quantities of HBM will be implemented and die shrink

DX12 is like Windows 10. Games are coded for Windows 10. Games made for Windows 7 or 8 can still run in Windows 10, but in compatibility mode.

Likewise the games u mention will still run in an DX12 environment with DX12-supported GPUs. But they will be only capable of running DX11. So they will run DX11-mode in the DX12 environment.
