hi guys,

my pc woke from sleep last night and wont display a thing...
I tried troubleshooting a few:
1) Took out g card, use eraser rub the tip and re-slot it in
2) use another monitor
3) Tried changing my HDMI cable

The above 3 steps did not have any outputs (in face I believe the LCD detected the input, just a black screen and nothing else)
I still see my PC booting normally, with all other fans and lights running. Even the GPU was running fine.

Another bro mentioned to test the onboard GPU, which I did, but same output (black screen). Previously i already disabled my onboard card, is that why there are no outputs?

I do not have a card for testing if its the gpu issue, any bros here can advise?

Monitor die? Try other monitor ports? Can conform if monitor mentions going to sleep/energy saving or is it pc on sleep (usually pc on sleep you return to the log in screen rather than desktop after waking it up).

Does the fan runs when you turn it on?

Did you change any parts recently? (I.E. add on ram, change cpu)

Sent from microwave oven using GAGT

dont think monitor died, cos i output to my TV, nothing also
I dont think its going to sleep, cos I dont see the (NO INPUT), in fact, my monitor LED on/off light was perma red which means it detected something, but blank.

Fans run as per normal

I added 2x4gb ram recently. I also took them out yesterday, but still nothing when I boot up.
