GPU overclocking weird sound

Im trying to overclock my GPU using MSI afterburner. Settings is max power while clockspeed +240.

While running 3Dmark demo, i hear this sound that resembles a soft screeching. It sounds like something small spinning at super high rpm. Im just a little worried. Any one might know where this sound is coming from? Should i lower my settings?

1. check is any plastic residue left in the card..
2. might be coil whine noise.
3. check fan speed in rpm? if too high definitely not ideal..
4. rma xD

Some of the tests i get up to 200 fps while some even up to 330 fps during the benchmarks.

Am i overworking it?

High chance is coil whine. It is normal. But just irritating.

Yea it sounds like a whine noise thing.
When u say fans, is it the one i see on the card? Or is thr some other hidden fan. Cos the fans outside dont seem to be the cause.

Yea definitely irritating. But with abit of music i guess i cant hear it.

rma lor.. hope your next card no noise haha..
last time had 2 powercolour 280x.. both also got noise.. jitao sian.
volume was quite distruptive

Im still running some other benchmarks now. Imma take a screenshot for u later.

Im currently running the series of 3Dmark demo benchmarks.

I think cos is the cui benchmarks la. Thats why so high. The firestrike benchmarks is a decent 50fps range.
