GPU temperature in singapore

my case has 2 arctic p12s blowing air directly into my strix rx580, so even with the card fans at 0rpm, idle is about 38-40 degrees with the p12s spinning at about 750rpm. i usually play 1 not so demanding game, so i downclock my card, peak load is 55 degrees at 1800rpm with p12s at 60%. sometimes i oc my card for fun, drawing about 190w, stable 75 degrees at 2600rpm with p12s at 1800rpm (100%).

Yours is actually idling at a better temperature than mine.

This is all dependent on the card cooler design, which version of the same generation and especially on the generation of the GPU. Along with the ambient temperatures of course.

My 2080Ti had way better idle temperatures than my current Asus ROG Strix RTX 3090 that I am using now.

It exceeds even that of yours. I'm idling at 47 degrees in an air conditioned room of 24 degrees celscius.
All because it is idling at 0 rpm mode as well. Seems a bit toasty for my taste. But I prefer 0 rpm mode over the fan constantly spinning and pushing dust into the GPU heatsink. Thus why I left my GPU switch in Silent Mode operation vs Performance Mode. And the fact that it is within Nvidia's and Asus's specs. So all good.
Think for my 3090 (Dell OEM by MSI), there's no modes to toggle, though I could probably manual toggle in MSI AB

I avoid installing case fans that are near to a CPU/GPU fan. Reason being is that my GT fan has killed 2x Cryorig C7 fans and 1x Noctua A9 fan.

Probably because the airflow caused overspeed on those fans which led to their deaths.
