Can advise which gpu to get?

Planning to upgrade to most likely ryzen 1600. I only play cs go mainly. No requirements for aesthetics, just need it value for performance. Considering the gtx 1050ti, any brand recommendations for this or other gpu?

Forget 1050, waste money only. Go for 1060 or 1070 at least.

1050/1050ti, just get the cheapest one. they perform identically anyway. none of them will run hot, if you need more performance u can oc too. my 1050ti runs at 1961-1979mhz

Zotac GTX 1050 Ti @ Lazada I believe is going for 209 bucks. That is before any coupon discount. This is more than enough for CS:GO even at max settings.

You mean 3GB version? Lazada is selling the Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 3GB as low as 299 bucks. But again, it is 90 bucks more than the GTX 1050 Ti, and for the sake of CS:GO, it will definitely be an overkill.

If u are still afraid of it can consider getting dual fans with 3 heat pipe and hope that ur case is well ventilated.

Its is not a card that generates a lot of heat, so even single fan with simple heatsink will manage the heat output.

pny even has a passively cooled 1050ti.this card simply isnt hot

Ps, didnt update my specs, am using a freesync monitor curently but still cs go is the main game. haven't touched other games in almost 7-8 months, maybe fifa 18 next. Would 1050/ ti still be recommended or go for like 460?

1050ti is still the better card. Closest competitor on the red side is rx470/570 which is like...a 100 bucks more. Better off getting gtx 1060 if that's the case.

if u wan to use your freesync monitor, better to go 2nd hand market look for r9 290 / 290x. seen some r9 290 at around 200$

Seriously the gt 1030 from nvidia is adequate enough for cs go. Can easily max settings 1080p 60-144 fps. Unless for some reason you want to hit 144 299 fps for competitive gaming or if you have expensive 144hz or higher refresh rate monitor then can go gtx 1050.

The gt 1030 is marketed as an eSports title gaming gpu so it is more then enough for e sports title like overwatch, cs go, dota 2 etc. Can even play AAA titles if you willing to reduce resolution to 900p med to high settings.
