GPU Upgrade Advise

Have a old R9 280X now in my PC, planning to upgrade, any GPU to recommend?My processor is i7 2.8ghz.. forgot exact specs liao, then 12gb ram, and recently bought a new SSD oso.
Budget ard $200-300. Will prefer a AMD card coz i have a new freesync monitor i like to put to use.;)

Like to up my experience in the upcoming Dirt 4 ^^v

Usually for that budget a 1060 3gb is the best value performance @ $266 or $250. If you really have to use amd freesync then gonna get the overprice RX 400 500 series from amd from local market which is not worth it. Would rather just use gtx 1060 and forget about using amd freesync.

I am looking for a 1060 3gb as well. I dont seem to find anything below $300 on lazada. Is this the current prices? just checking as im about to make purchase.

The rx570 and 580 already covered the mid range. Vega is the high end series. Amd representative tout it will challenge gtx 1080. Take this claim with a pinch of salt.

Get fuzzie/wogi voucher. Stack Shopback. Rebate till about $250. Cheapest card is Palit. Zotac have longer warranty. Choose your favourite.

Please be careful when buying PALiT cards though. That card is like a gamble.
This guy's 1 in 5 cards is performing poorly.

Then got another guy, after 7 months, spoilt. Was posted yesterday but the post on Convergent has been deleted (probably by user) after Convergent responded.

Then, there's an entire thread to PALiT failing. It is like the GPU equivalent of Bata. For a few dollars more, you can get more robust cards with better warranty than PALiT.
