GPU Upgrade

I currently have an i5 750 pc that is mainly used for gaming at 1080p and watching videos on it. the specs are as follows:

  • i5 750 2.66 Hz (not overclocked)
  • Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard
  • 8Gb Kingston DDR3 rams (4*2gb sticks)
  • Sapphire 5850 Toxic 1Gb
  • WD 640Gb Black
  • Andyson F500M PSU
I built this PC 4 years ago and I am intending to just upgrade the graphics card if possible. Any recommendations? budget abt 300-400

R9 270x? Should be around $300 for sapphire 270x 2GB vapor-x.

Or if you don't mind second hand you can buy 280x for about $340
