Grab App Issue Help Needed. Thank you.

After changing to MI8, Grab App will display this. I allowed its GPS and Data but still no luck with it.

Looks like we werent able to collect to our server. Please try again in a few minutes.

I tried for days but still cant work. Any expert here who can help me with it? Thank you.

MRC gorgor, you need to give permission to all Google components(account manager, okay services, play games, service framework etc) under SECURITY > Manage Apps > Permissions

Thank u. I just tested already still cant work. I gave all permission for 6 googles app plus Grab app also full access. Any other solutions?

Uninstall, restart your phone, install again and try?

I got the solution for u. If im not wrong, u r using China ROM phone.

In order for grab to work in SG, u need to lock on to ur gps (via Google map).

Make sure Google map can detect ur location via gps first (u need to go outdoor and turn on GPS for GPS to lock on).

After that grab should work perfectly.

Reason being, China ROM default ur gps in China.

If it works for u, pls share to benefits the mass.

Yes its China rom.Anyway of fixing this GPS issue permanently? I on GPS with OFO and google map it worked but cant work for Grab

Same here. Grab can't work on my China rom Mi Max 3.

You cannot relock bootloader after flashing global rom to China set now. The phone will brick.

For me I nv at issue B4, as I've been using Google map B4 even install grab app.

Then my Fren happen to have this issue. We accidentally found out that after he locked on to physical GPS via Google map, grab works.

Make sure u set to GPS only or high accuracy.

Once it works, it works permanently.

Just set up a mi max3 China ROM for my Fren. Same grab issue, but problem solved by locking on GPS only via Google map.

Make sure u go to gps setting and set GPS only.

in my redmi 7A china rom, just have to turn off or disable the battery saver mode to make grab work properly. seems its denied of location privileges when that option is on.

Hi, has anyone faced difficulty in adjusting camera focus while using Grab App to scan QR code?

I am using Redmi 10x4G MIUI 12.05 and the focus seems to be always out inside grab app(other apps seems to be working fine)

Grab app is no longer supported if the Chinese ROM is region lock.
