Going Bangkok during late Jan, wondering how much is the grab per trip? like isit cheaper than SG and also less than $10?
I went Malaysia last week and take grab everywhere cheapest is $3 and most expensive is $15 due to raining weather. Isit the same as Bangkok?

How many pax do you have?
If only 2, taking bts or mrt is better unless you are going far or places where there's no bts or mrt.

Agree with roboro above, try to use public transport unless you are travelling with elderly. Traffic there is crazy. Furthermore some grab drivers can't locate you, or you had a hard time finding their vehicle even arrive..
Don't worry about the price cos it is cheaper than sg..

2 pax, it is my first time going, the mrt card can be use for bts and other metro except airport rail right? I went to research and it seems that the mrt card are used for the "purple line and blue line" are we able to use it on "green line"

Mrt card is for mrt only. Mrt has purple and blue line.
BTS uses rabbit card, or can buy single trip ticket.
Green line is BTS, need to buy ticket separately from mrt.
Airport rail buy single trip ticket.

Compare Malaysia, Grab is cheaper. BKK also cheaper than SG.
Take note the waiting is longer, as traffic there is terrible. (7-10 mins)
If you stay near the MRT/BTS route, going to places near MRT/BTS route, then take MRT/BTS is faster and cheaper.

usually we use grab to travel around even for just 2 of us. like to further away places or to CTC or night market

relatively cheap, usually within 200 - 300 baht. confirm cheaper then asking straight from street hire

Am here for a few days liao. Found taxi cheaper than grab. Always price surge in BKK. But from DMK to hotel grab cheaper. Choose door EXIT 2 when arriving ( right side till near the end ). Taxi go by meter is sure cheap but there are still some that picks location and asking for flat fee.
