Ya man. From 2.6% rewards value to 0.8%. Pathetic. The only thing I can think of for myself is to use Amex truecash to TOP up grab card and get a total return of 1.5+ 0.8% ba. Dun have uobone card though.

Now got flash sale for grab rewards food catalog. I redeem quite a few but must utilize it by 3 Feb 2020. Think should clear all reward points asap otherwise after nerf some sort of under value.

Another good option is to claim 2500 for 5000 capital star. Then can get e capital voucher

No from my experience. Just use the grabpay mastercard?
Just confirm from Grab that only if auto topup is setup, no topup in SGD is allowed when one is overseas.
Can't use the mastercard if there is no credit though, right?

If u select the option of auto top up, u can still use grabpay overseas to ur top up amount in event that your balance is low
Thanks. This makes it very restrictive in usage when the auto topup amount is insufficient for payment.

Capitastars is a good choice. 2,500 grab point, to get 5,000 capitastars. 5,000 capitastars can get $5 capitavoucher, which is easy to spend since capitamalls are everywhere. If really cannot spend, still can go NTUC to change for equivalent value NTUC voucher.

Right now, 2.5k grab point is still $250 spend, which means a 2% cashback on your spend if you convert to Capitastars.
