Don't bother setting up recurring with Grab Card. It is not reliable, especially if payments are triggered in the mornings. Payments will fail on and off.

I rather save the hassle and trouble with other cards, or risk your insurance, HDB parking or telco lines getting cancelled.

Hi, just new to GPMC. I activate the grabpay master card today. Plan to try whether can pay insurance with GPMC. By the way, does HSBC advance or SCB cashback card give rebate to topup GPMC?

Paying for transport. It used to be daily settlement by samsung pay when it was tagged to DBS. Grabpay card just deduct from my wallet.

Depending on what u paying. Nothing to do with Samsung pay. If the site u paying all along award, even with Samsung Pay, it'll still award

I tried using the mastercard from grab to pay for bills like starhub etc.
After paying, I saw I got received the points in my grab app. I also saw the remaining points to get to the next tier. From 1000 to 500 points to next tier. But the next day when I logged into my grab app, I realized the points from 500 goes back to 1000 points, how come ar? :s11:

How come i use with my samsung pay, it does not award me the points?

Which points are u referring to? Grabpay point or samsung pay point?

I have not used directly for transport for a long long time. As mine will crash with Dash. At times it'll jumped over and deduct from Dash.

Eg. Tap in via Samsung pay grab
Tap out via Dash. I ended up with double deduction issue

It has to do with settings. Anyway I stop using Samsung Pay for transport

Btw. The very last time i use (a year ago irrc) i don't remember receiving any Grab nor Samsung points at all.

Managed to pay for AVIVA insurance with the GPMC, and got 10% cashback through the CDC MCO Card promotion as well. Going to be a good 3 months using the GPMC to get extra cashback on purchases.

For those curious, process would be to top up the MCO Card, spend it on Grab (gives the 10% cashback), and then paying with the GPMC on AVIVA.

Removed referral because not sure if allowed - PM me if you’re interested in a referral link!

And for a referral if interested in trying it out - platinum.crypto.com/r/f3vv8cmyc4 kickstarts you with 50 USD if you get the Ruby metal card.

Is this for the first premium payment? Or does Aviva allow premium payments through credit card payments now? Thanks.

What is the CDC MCO Card and how to get it? Link to cryptocurrency? If so, I'm a noob. Could you kindly elaborate?

Yes link to crypto. You have to stake some crypto in order to get the card. It's a metal card. There is a separate thread in the Credit Card section. You can find it there and ask more qns.

You sure can use MCO card to top up Grab wallets and earn 10% cashback? I have the MCO card but it doesn't seem to work. :s22:

Aviva allows recurring setup on Grab Mastercard. Need to fill card authorisation form and submit to Aviva. Cannot submit online. Not applicable for MINDEF/MHA policies. https://www.aviva.com.sg/en/downloads/life-health-savings-retirement/#for-individuals

But be warned, premium payments via Grab MAY fail to trigger. Mine failed once, it was obviously Grab card issue as many people also reported failure on that faithful morning. It's not once off, Grab has payment problems quite frequently every now and then.

In any case, I've since switched to MCO Card as I can get cashbacks. For MCO related qns, pls go to the thread link. I'll answer them over there. :s12:

Yeah, I tested with 10 dollars first, then put the 400 in for the premium.

For the screenshot showing the rebate. Showed up within a minute or so.
