Hi all, I'm feeling really confused and frustrated right now because today when I was buying bubble tea and wanted to use grabpay, I realised I was logged out. I then log in and received the otp. Keyed in the otp but the app says its wrong. Resend another otp again and this time round it says account suspended?! That's weird and furthermore I just logged in yesterday to top up my account. I'm sure there is no fraudulent activities and this is the only account I have with grab. I only use the grab account to pay for my usual purchases/points when I'm out. Now send appeal have to wait for them to decide without telling me the reason of suspension?? What happens to the credits inside?? Its so ridiculous that I just topped up yesterday 😩

Probably because you put wrong OTP, which triggered some security measures.

Basically the T&C lists that it has to be "eligible spend". Given that top-up to Grab is not currently listed as "non-eligible spend", it should be counted in meeting the $1K spent. You may wish to check with CSO of AMEX for confirmation.

GrabPay's fate is sealed. It is doomed to fail.

The 4 points per dollar spend reward is abysmal. Add on to the fact that a $10 Grab voucher costs 5000 points. This made the cashback around 0.8%.

Who in the right mind will use GPMC? Unless the original CC has exclusion.

GPMC doesn't even give cashback for insurance, excludes AXS.

It is dead.

OK, managed to spend my remaining amount in Grabpay and left only with 10cents.

Will wait and see what other better deals come along...
