Thanks!
Strange, i did the same also 1 month ago also but was unsuccessful. Then I read from youtrip FAQ that they do not allow use on other prepaid card platform include grab.

1. Can I use the GPMC to topup Dash?
2. If I buy stuff in other currencies outside Grab, will I be subjected to bank and conversion fees?
Thanks in advance

1. can't. as Dash only allows local card.
2. not clear. For Grab ride booking in foreign currencies, Grab uses its own conversion, not mastercard one, so not going through mastercard network, no need mastercard fee and bank fee.

2. Tried using it and the conversion rate was as good as what you’d see if you google. No other fees

Can't, tried it too, it does not support GPMC. Works ok for paying for Singtel bill though

I previously shared before my experience making payment on taobao in USD and the rate using gpmc was worse than YouTrip and even the conversion by taobao itself.. so meaning YouTrip and taobao's rate is better than you is shown on Google? :s13:

Different currencies might be better on GPMC as compared to YT. For my case, the JPY conversion on GPMC was better than YT.

Hey yes I saw that and fully agree that it need not necessarily be the best among options available, neither does being the same as google mean it is good (a lagged rate could both be good and bad), the point being more of it being a very reasonable rate with no fees, good enough for me at least who doesn't exchange huge sums of money.
