it's not that difficult to top up via paynow or bank, and withdraw it. but still clock your assigned spend that mth using your cc top ups

Can topup from bank to count to the topup requirement, then withdraw to bank. Withdrawal not counted as spending. Can topup using Amex TCB, UOB absolute to get rebate. Eligible spending using amounts topped up by CC count to the spending/transactions requirements.

Maybe the only thing to consider topping up and transferring out is that it will count towards your annual transaction limit.

but technically if a fraudster can take over your internet banking, they can transfer to almost anywhere independent of whether it is to grab wallet or not?

If someone takes over your internet banking, why would they transfer money to Grab and not some overseas account which would be much harder to reverse?

The $30k limit to "protect" us is MAS pandering to the local banks, and I'm glad the good financial institutions are recognising that not all features need to fall under the $30k limit.

if i fraudster i just use it straightaway from the bank, don't even need to go thru grab lah. there's millons of ways if really one fraudster does it.
