with GPMC now, everybody can become Platinum so easily, it's worthless liao..not like previously, Platinum is really atas, the perks are so good. Nowadays, nothing to shout about.

not sure about android, but in iOS,
go payment tab -> payment settings (top right gear icon) -> Click on yr grabpay card -> the opt-in button should be below the update pin choice...

I think it’s the same whether Grabpay or gpmc, deduct from same wallet anyway. Gpmc more troublesome still hv to key in as AXS Mastercard

For hotel booking, maybe this route is better -> shopback hotel (6% cashback) -> hotel app (earn loyalty points) -> pay by GPMC (10x pts ~2.5% cashback*). To further max out, top up GPMC with UOB one card. Altogether, 10% cashback (UOB) + 6% cashback (shopback) + ~2.5% voucher value (GPMC) = 18.5% value from what u spent on hotel booking.

sounds good but the bad thing is, if you book hotel through shopback apps. they mark up the hotel pricing, is as good as paying more.

rule of thumb you can use tripadvisor to compare the pricing, usually tripadvisor price will be much better than shopback or the original one.

You can try it out.

Not all the time lei, i made sure the price is the same by visiting the website directly and then via shopback again.

not too sure if it works, but can also try to top up youtrip with GPMC then book directly on websites such as agoda. youtrip has 6% discount right now.

Late to this Grabpay game. I just set up the Grabpay virtual card and automatically asked if I want to be notified of the availability of the physical card. I just went ahead since there is so much hype here. Still reading what the gpmc can do and what advantages it has over other credit cards, so sorry for asking some basic questions:
1) is the virtual gpmc treated like a debit card in other platforms like retail terminals and AXS?
2)roughly how long will the gp c be mailed to you after submitting interest? I read it is random and they only choose 300 so far.
3) have any bro use the physical gpmc card to topup transport cards in the GTM machine?
4)I'm not prompted to get my info via singpass after sign up. Meaning I will not be selected?
