so far, confirmed chop strategy for GPMC for me is the following:

UOB ONE card
$1k - car stuff
$1k - top up on grabpay (no gp points given)

Spend $2k on UOB one card for 3 months, get 10% cashback.

At the moment, all my rebate is 10%.

I use my GPMC for taobao, online purchase. Grabpay for grab, food(most merchant has grab) to earn GP.

Most bo hua is earn GP using grabride only (6x) platinum member.

For GPMC is 10x.

If no merchant accept grab or GPMC. I use UOB card direct, no GP but still can hit $2k spending.

Closing to end of statement month of UOB one, i check if i did not hit $2k, I top grabpay to hit the $2k spending.

So far i think best strategy for $2k spending monthly.

Anyone better strategy?

If bank loaded with $ can try HSBC account, get 4% annual with spending.

Car stuff as in???

You should be aware that some credit card terminals, can just key in card number manually for payment. So next time for your car stuff, if there is such substantial amount, you may request to try to key the GPMC in manually into the terminal. If it goes through, you get the One card rebates plus GP rewards, instead of One card rebates only.

I've not tried this in SG yet, but have tried this overseas, where the merchant only takes my GPMC number and key into system for payment.

People in earlier pages already shared you can topup GPMC into a 3rd card. So effectively can get 10% for all car stuff. Thats why for those who know how to utilize the GPMC even $2k a mth is never enough, how to have surplus to sell.

Nerfed on Grab's end already, no grab rewards. But that's not really what we're looking for is it?

you got my point wrong not talking about grab rewards. i am saying there is no need to charge to uob one because you can get 10% on everything online and offline by loading $ from GP to a 3rd party card.
You say so loud online. Anyway it's only a matter of time that banks start nerfing too. Make the best use of it while it's still available.

I can’t seem to use my grab master card today. Anyone knows if the monthly transaction limit is applicable within the calendar month or 30 days?

Hi, does anyone have a problem with GPMC not working overseas (in my case Msia) after there wasn't enough balance & they suspended the card? It was reinstated but after that GPMC stopped working completely. I couldn't use my GrabPay to pay for Msia Grab. I have SGD in Grabpay btw.

edit: i've called the CSO and emailed but all say my GrabPay is working on their end. To them, there's no error.
