2% is very little though... Instead of using grab just charge to cards.. Most other cards still give 5% rebates..

Usually these cards involve minimum spending and specific categories...

They talking about using other cards for higher rebate on specific categories of spending, instead of topping up grabpay. These card have a cap and usually need min spending.

It’s not SCB Spree.. I got up to 3% for grab top up.

Can. But they keep deducting the 10 cents which I find irritating. It will be offsetted against the cumulative of about 5 days trip.

Since there are no points anyway, I would rather use the physical card to topup my Nets Flashpay card then use Nets Flashpay for transport...... and places that accepts NETS Flashpay but not credit card eg Old Chang Kee, Daiso...... and TOTO/4D (2 cents charge per transaction)

I think he was quoting charging directing from CC which give 5% instead of topping up and using GP

There is an initial 10 cents when you register at simplygo app. This will be refunded after quite long. I have not seen mine refunded yet. Registration made on 6 Jan.

Then when I first use it on MRT, there is another 10 cents charge. Being mastercard, simplygo will accumulate and charge 5 days or $15 whichever is earlier. Eg if the cumulative is $8, you will see $7.90 charge to the card.

Then when I take MRT again, there is another 10 cents charged and again it was deducted against the cumulative charge.

So I decided to switch to use GPMC to top up my Nets Flashpay instead after I realise that it is allowed.

Only works if you order food and rides .
Anything else , even if you set auto TOP up, it will charge to grab wallet first. Not a direct pass thru

lets go back to dash, throw away the now defunct gpmc. at least dash still can get x% back if you top up using singtel bill and pay singtel bill by your highest cashback % card.

No cards offering 5% rebates for grab topup... What i meant is instead of earning 2% by using grab.. u can also choose to use other card which give 5% rebates like the uob one.. ocbc 365.. dbs live etc..

For me i charge food and groceries to ocbc 365 to hit $800 min.. the rest to uob one for either $500/$1000/$2000.. if still need to use then dbs live fresh for $600 min..
