While I do not actively use GPMC, the Grabapp to make QR payments is by far the most convenient way, because the app is really responsive VS any of the other bank apps out there. There are occasional quirks like the payment failing, but works a few minutes later. But by far, it's more than good enough.
Agree. When I pay at hawker centre using CDC, the balance few cents I would pay by Grabpay.

If use bank paynow still need to login. And hawkers don't accept credit cards

Yup and the bank paynow takes a good 1 minute at best, and on average 1.5 minutes before you can even get to the sceen to scan a QR code.

Pro tip for Grab app: try long press the app on your home sceen, you'll see the option to scan QR code with a single click.

Did you top up with same gpmc card earlier on the same day?
There is a limit per calendar day.

I did actually. I wanted to load $150, the avm max is $100, so couldn't manage the remaining $50

Can I assume $100 is the daily max? Is the cap imposed by TransLink or Grab?

Ah found it

https://www.transitlink.com.sg/stor...p-Up Payment at,payment mode per day applies.
If you are topping up your stored value travel card via your credit/debit card at the General Ticketing Machine (GTM), a maximum payment limit of $100 per credit/debit card per payment mode per day applies. For example, you can top up $100 with your physical credit/debit card and another $100 with your mobile device. In addition, the maximum top-up amount is $100 per transaction.
