I do both.

I lock my card because nowadays I use Grabpay only, not the credit card.

Then I only topup just before I need to use for almost exact amount (round up)

Not the card. Grabpay or Grab online when have promo.

Eg recent buy Frasers mall giftcard $200 get $220 value. Mystery gift 450 Grabpoints. Got extra $10 giftcard when I use the giftcard value for making spectacles.

Also used at qoo10 before when they have cash rebate for Grab online.

Also use Grab to scan qr code to make Paynow payments.
