I believe is Grab system got issue. I have in app chat them but no replies for days. I ended up Facebook chat and did gotten reply saying they will check with the relevant department. But still no hear back from them. I have check with my bank which tell me no issue with my card. I can spend on other stuffs just that cannot use at Grab.
Grab ever have similar encounter in the past but is on credit cards. I believe their system has issue. It needs more people to feedback to them to get them start taking it seriously it seems.

I failed several times to top-up by Grab wallet with BOC debit card this morning, now like kena "blocked" .... say cannot top-up with the card....

I never notice this as I never use the feature .... but I did see the option to offset my GrabFood order for Self pick-up .....

Yes, don't have the option to offset. Could do so in the past when paying via PayNow QR.

Grab has an ongoing flash sale ending today .... I just exchanged 1250 Grabcoins for a $5 GrabFood voucher ....

My strategy is now to use the Grabcoins whenever there is a reasonable good promo ... would not want to wait for better deals as you will never know whether the deal will become better or worse in the furture .... especially now there is a "life span" on the Grabcoins earned .....

Just realised it can only be used for delivery.... with the delivery fees ++, makes no sense to order delivery .....

Update: I noticed since 28 Apr 2026, use of GrabCoins (500 to $1) to offset payment for both PayNow QR and GrabPay QR is available again.

If I have sufficient points, the 1750pts for "$5 off with GrabPay online or PayLater" would be my choice as I would top-up my FrX app with $25, and get $5 off, so I pay $20 for a $25 credit into my FrX app ....

RNG. I just keep topping up. Some txn go thru some dont. Then need file a case with grab. They will say they ack the amount but blocked by ur own issuing bank. Then thats ur proof to send to your own bank to reverse the funds
