Hi does anyone know if you graduate late, like maybe 1 sem extra, (i.e 3years course take 3.5 years to grad) do you attend the next convocation with juniors or there is no ceremony? Heard mixed answers about this. Thanks in advance

Regardless when you graduate, you always have a choice not to attend convocation ceremony.
If you chose to attend, it maybe the next convocation with juniors since you stay back 1 sem.
You attend the next convocation, if you want to.
Source: I graduated late from NTU due to taking special sem.
just curious, for that extra sem, is it covered by tuition grant? Or do you have to pay the full fees of 12k? I went to my undergrad office to enquire and they were unsure of it as well.
Which year did you enroll?
I googled this up,
last time (2017 and before): Even though you are no longer covered by tuition grant if you exceed the normal period of candidature, NTU will extend the subsidy to you, but you still have to pay GST.

But if you accepted NTU offer in 2018 onwards, it seems like its less generous.
You will pay by Academic Units, capped at 120% of the subsidized fee for the 1st extended sem, 150% for 2nd sem, and pay full unsubsidized fee for third extended semester onwards.
