Graphic card backplate

I realized that most graphic cards with back plate tend to use them only for aesthetics or to improve the card rigidity. In such case, not sure if anyone attempted to apply thermal pads to transfer heat to the back plate to aid with cooling? I reckon it should help reduce the heat quite a bit since some of it is transferred to the backplate instead of the main heatsink which is already "busy" cooling the GPU, memory, and the MOSFETs.

I am asking as I am thinking if I should attempt to do it. Just thinking if it is well worth the effort, so trying to get some opinions.

Actually I did buy this. But I was just thinking if we can just leverage on existing backplate to help spread out some of the heat. One problem with the Accelero is the rather fat back plate, which unfortunately will be in contact with my CPU tower heatsink.

Thank you for sharing the link bro. May be when I get sometime, I will try it out on my GPU. I was actually inspired by the backplate on the Arctic Accelero, which I am certain it should help with cooling to some extent if there is good airflow.

In the example of the Aorus card, I feel while copper is a good conductor, it is too small and likely won't help much. In fact, I wasn't thinking of placing the thermal pads on the rear of the GPU. Instead I was thinking more of placing it behind the ram and MOSFETs where it runs very hot too.
